Join us for an enlightening lecture with Dr. Winnie Kortemeier, Professor of Geosciences at ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø, as she reveals groundbreaking
research on Lake Tahoe. Dr. Kortemeier’s work has determined that Lake Tahoe is a
staggering 2.3 million years old, making it North America’s oldest freshwater, permanent lake and the third-oldest in the world! The lecture will be held in the Aspen building, second floor. RSVP is encouraged
